[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Travel and leisure platform Yanolja announced on the 20th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Geoje City to revitalize local tourism.

This agreement marks the first step in developing tourism content. As part of the vivid travel video content series "Now, Here," Yanolja released "Now, Geoje." The video showcases Geoje's tourist attractions, famous accommodations, and popular restaurants all in one place.

Yanolja plans to install digital signage (digital displays) at various tourist spots throughout Geoje. The "Now, Geoje" video will be continuously broadcasted, with QR codes printed at the bottom to facilitate easy access to the Yanolja application. Additionally, a travel map featuring the filming locations of "Now, Geoje" will be placed together to introduce the charm of Geoje as a rich travel city.

Kim Yong-kyung, Head of the Yanolja Brand Office, stated, "We will contribute to region-specific branding based on Yanolja's content production capabilities," adding, "We will review various ways to provide meaningful travel content to visitors of Geoje."

Byun Kwan-yong, Mayor of Geoje City, said, "Collaboration with Yanolja is an opportunity to promote the charm of Geoje City to many people online," and added, "We will expand public-private cooperation to attract visitors to the travel city Geoje."
