원본보기 아이콘[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] L'Occitane Korea announced on the 20th that it will hold the Stay 2.0 exhibition at Studio Contrast in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, from the 21st until next month 1st.
The Stay 2.0 exhibition is an eco-museum that contains the history of the past 46 years, reflecting L'Occitane's perspective on sustainability in today's era where nature and humans coexist. Under the theme RE: GENERATION, which signifies a new beginning for the restoration of nature, various objects by four upcycling artists living sustainable lifestyles were installed.
First, the living room on the first floor features objects made by artist Kim Haneul using discarded masks and scrap materials. The space was decorated with masks and L'Occitane's scraps, from the ceiling lighting objects to the sofa and table. The bathroom space themed RE:USE was handled by artist Kim Eunha, who created towel fabrics using old L'Occitane eco-bags.
The bedroom on the second floor exhibited 10 lighting pieces made from L'Occitane glass bottles. Artist Park Sunmin, known for showcasing unique design sensibilities by utilizing discarded glass, was in charge. Lastly, Plastic Bakery Seoul, responsible for the dining room, collected L'Occitane bottle flakes to create baking objects inspired by the Provence aesthetic. They expressed the image of eco-friendliness and handmade craftsmanship through various baking objects.
A newly introduced refill fountain space by L'Occitane was also set up on the first floor. It allows the use of products contained in 100% recycled aluminum bottles for five of L'Occitane's bestsellers.
In addition, various spaces aimed at coexistence between nature and humans, such as the ‘RE:ACT Zone’ where 100% of proceeds from UNICEF hand cream purchases are donated, attract attention.
Before the opening of the Stay 2.0 exhibition, on the 19th, 2PM's Lee Junho attended a photo session for the media, adding brilliance to the event.
Meanwhile, reservations for L'Occitane Stay 2.0 are only possible through Naver advance booking, and viewing is limited to a maximum of one hour. The exhibition hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
