Samsung Electronics Launches 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Gallery with Body Temperature Wind'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] Samsung Electronics announced on the 20th that it will launch a new 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Gallery with Body Temperature Wind (hereinafter Wind-Free Gallery Body Temperature Wind)' equipped with the 'Body Temperature Wind' function.

Body Temperature Wind is a function that emits a gentle and warm breeze of 30 to 40 degrees Celsius to add warmth. It helps maintain a comfortable indoor temperature and humidity during cool spring and autumn mornings and evenings, or on chilly and humid days. It was developed reflecting the recent trend of air conditioners being used as home appliances throughout all four seasons, not just in summer.

Samsung Electronics changed the paradigm of the air conditioner market by launching the world's first Wind-Free air conditioner in 2016, which maintains a comfortable indoor temperature without direct airflow. This year, the company has greatly expanded the role of air conditioners by adding the Body Temperature Wind function.

Consumers can choose to use cooling, Body Temperature Wind, purification, and dehumidification functions depending on the season or weather. The purification function can operate simultaneously in Body Temperature Wind mode, allowing consumers to create a comfortable indoor environment tailored to the season with cooling purification, general purification, or Body Temperature Wind purification.

The Wind-Free Gallery Body Temperature Wind also retains the existing powerful cooling performance. The 'Wide Wind-Free Cooling' saves up to 90% of power consumption by cooling through 220,000 micro holes, and the 'High-Pass Circulation Rapid Cooling' quickly lowers the temperature without blind spots.

Additionally, an eco-friendly 'Solar Cell Remote Control' that does not dispose of disposable batteries is applied.

The Wind-Free Gallery Body Temperature Wind is released as a home multi-product consisting of a stand type with a cooling area of 62.6㎡ and a wall-mounted type with a cooling area of 18.7㎡. It is available in three white pattern colors, and the price is 5.12 million KRW based on the retail price.

Lee Kang-hyup, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Home Appliance Business Division, said, "The Wind-Free air conditioner, first introduced in 2016, has evolved further with Body Temperature Wind," and added, "We will continue to introduce products that provide various values to consumers, such as the Wind-Free Gallery Body Temperature Wind."
