[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City will conduct integrated recruitment for employees of its affiliated public institutions in the first half of this year.
According to the city on the 20th, the integrated recruitment was introduced in the second half of last year to enhance transparency and fairness in the recruitment process of public institutions and to guarantee equal examination opportunities. The first integrated recruitment was conducted to select a total of 112 candidates from 12 institutions.
This year, the city plans to hold integrated recruitment in both the first and second halves of the year. In the first half, 13 institutions including Daejeon Urban Corporation will participate, selecting a total of 168 candidates, consisting of 78 general employees and 90 public service workers.
The recruitment process consists of a first-round written exam and a second-round document screening and interview. The city is responsible for the first round, conducting written exams on subjects requested by the public institutions, while the second round is directly conducted by the recruiting public institutions.
Applications will be accepted from 10:00 AM on the 3rd of next month until 6:00 PM on the 10th. The submission method requires applicants to first access the city’s public institution integrated recruitment website, then move to each institution’s recruitment website to apply individually. Each applicant may apply to only one institution and one field.
The first-round written exam is scheduled for the 29th of next month, and the second-round document screening and interviews will be scheduled and conducted by each recruiting public institution.
For more detailed information regarding the integrated recruitment, inquiries can be made to the Daejeon City Hall Personnel Innovation Officer (first round) and the 13 individual public institutions (second round).
