[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Olacare, a non-face-to-face medical consultation and medicine delivery platform operated by BlueAnt, announced on the 20th that it won the grand prize in the Service Design (Healthcare & Wellness) category at the German 'iF Design Award 2022,' becoming the first in the industry to do so.

The iF Design Award is considered one of the world's top three design awards. This year, a total of 10,776 works were submitted from 57 countries worldwide. Olacare was recognized for its competitiveness in premium personalized healthcare services and specialized pharmaceutical delivery systems.

Olacare is a non-face-to-face remote medical consultation and medicine delivery service platform where the big data-based ‘AI Olacoordi’ recommends the most optimized doctors in real time and dispenses and delivers prescribed medicines. When patients select their illness and desired consultation time, the platform quickly matches them with doctors available at that time, minimizing waiting times. Additionally, elderly people and infants can use the family proxy application function to access non-face-to-face consultations for all age groups, and the service is available until 10 p.m. on weekdays, enhancing user convenience.

Furthermore, Olacare established the industry's first ‘specialized pharmaceutical delivery system’ for correct medicine delivery in a non-face-to-face medical consultation platform. Dedicated delivery staff, directly hired and professionally trained by the platform, pick up medicines prepared at pharmacies and deliver them directly to patients after verifying their identity, addressing concerns about sensitive personal information protection and medicine misdelivery.

Kim Seonghyun, CEO of BlueAnt, said, “Winning the iF Design Award is the result of all Olacare staff working hard to provide professional and stable non-face-to-face medical consultation services through the mobile platform,” adding, “We will continue to strive to enhance customer convenience and provide personalized healthcare management.”
