Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Recruiting the 5th Citizen Observers for Construction of Shin-Kori Units 5 and 6

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) will publicly recruit the "5th Shin-Gori Units 5 and 6 Construction Citizen Observation Group" from the 20th to the 30th of this month.

The Shin-Gori Construction Citizen Observation Group has been operating since 2018 to secure public trust in nuclear power plant safety through transparent information disclosure.

The recruitment plans to select 50 residents living in Ulsan, Busan, and Gyeongnam areas adjacent to the construction site.

The citizen observation group will participate in online observations and on-site visits of major processes related to nuclear power plant construction and test operations for five months from June to October.

They will also engage in freely expressing opinions and policy suggestion activities on the dedicated KHNP citizen observation group website.

Applications to participate in the Shin-Gori Construction Citizen Observation Group can be submitted through the KHNP website.
