HPO Recruits External Experts with Experience and Skills

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] HPO announced on the 19th that it will strengthen its expertise by recruiting experts in various fields.

HPO newly appointed Pieter Nuboer, who was recognized for his management capabilities at a leading nutrition company, as an outside director.

An HPO official explained, "A foreign corporation head made significant contributions during the process of establishing Denps' business foundation," adding, "We expect Outside Director Pieter Nuboer to play a cornerstone role in HPO's growth with the expertise and network he has built at a global raw materials company."

To strengthen expertise in the financial sector, HPO also newly appointed former Shinhan BNP Paribas Asset Management CEO Min Jung-ki as an outside director. Outside Director Min served as the head of the London branch of Choheung Bank, head of the International Sales Department, and held positions as risk management team leader and strategic planning team leader at Shinhan Financial Group.

An HPO official said, "Outside Director Min possesses financial accounting expertise from working at financial institutions that operate advanced risk management and internal control systems," adding, "We judged that Outside Director Min is the right person to help HPO operate an advanced system and build a healthy financial structure."

He continued, "We will continue to recruit experts with skills and experience that help the business," and added, "We will strengthen our business capabilities."
