[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Oh Kwang-rok will walk the red carpet at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
On the 19th, his agency IHQ announced, "Oh Kwang-rok stars in the French co-production film 'ALL THE PEOPLE I'LL NEVER BE,' which was invited to the Un Certain Regard section of the 75th Cannes International Film Festival," sharing the news of his attendance at Cannes.
The film depicts the story of Freddy (played by Park Ji-min), a 25-year-old woman who was adopted at a young age and returns to her birth country, South Korea, to find her biological parents. The film is directed by Davy Chou, and features performances by Heo Jin, Kim Sun-young, and Park Ji-min.
Oh Kwang-rok, who plays Freddy's quiet-natured biological father in the film, said, "It is a great joy to attend the Cannes International Film Festival, where filmmakers from around the world gather. As someone who loves cinema, I am happy to present this wonderful work."
