KT Cloud Bets on Top Experienced Professionals... Also Grants Stock Options

[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] KT Cloud announced on the 19th that it will hire experienced professionals to secure top talent.

KT Cloud is a newly established company founded on the 1st of this month by KT through an in-kind contribution method, separating its cloud and Internet Data Center (IDC) business.

KT Cloud is the number one IDC operator in Korea, owning five IDCs in the metropolitan area (Gangnam, Yongsan, Mokdong 1, Mokdong 2, Bundang). It aims to secure leadership in the DX (digital transformation) market, focusing on AI cloud and the public and financial sectors.

This experienced recruitment will be conducted in the fields of ▲ cloud ▲ IDC ▲ IT ▲ management. The spring season experienced recruitment will be held in two rounds. About 100 candidates will be selected through document screening, practical interviews, and executive interviews. The application process has been simplified to focus on career details, with in-depth interviews to follow.

KT Cloud plans to extend the scope of stock options, originally promised to employees transferred from the KT Cloud IDC business unit to KT Cloud, to include these experienced hires as well. Successful candidates will be able to choose one item worth approximately 2.5 million KRW as a welcome gift: a MacBook Pro or an iPad Pro and Watch set.
