[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Daegu University signed a business agreement on the 15th at Nazareth University located in Cheonan, Chungnam, with the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled to expand the career and employment support project for disabled university students.


This business agreement was prepared to provide customized career and employment support services for disabled university students, with the participation of eight career and employment hub universities including Daegu University.


Each institution agreed to work together to establish a cooperative system linking education and employment to resolve difficulties faced by disabled university students during their job search process and to provide career exploration and employment support services.


To implement the agreement, various linked activities such as ▲ Disabled University Students Employment Exploration Team ▲ Disabled University Students Online Employment Camp ▲ Disabled University Students Career Mentoring Project ▲ Recruitment Briefings will also be promoted.


Chairman Jo Han-jin said, “We will do our best for the career and employment of disabled students enrolled in universities in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas by utilizing the know-how accumulated at the Daegu University Disabled Student Support Center.”


Daegu University was selected as the hub university for the Daegu and Gyeongbuk region to carry out the career and employment project for disabled university students in February.
