[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] A pet adoption center has opened in Bokryong-dong, Sangju-si, Gyeongbuk.

Currently, pet adoption services are conducted at the Cheongni-myeon Animal Protection Center, but with the opening of this center, accessibility and management environment have been improved.

Additionally, two management staff have been hired, allowing adoptions to be possible anytime through visits and consultations regardless of holidays.

Lee Hyun-gyun, Director of Livestock Division, said, “The opening of the adoption center is expected to play a significant role in improving awareness of pets, promoting adoption, and increasing adoption rates.”
