[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Park Hye-ja, a preliminary candidate for Gwangju Superintendent of Education, announced that she will provide high-spec smart devices free of charge to elementary, middle, and high school students in the Gwangju area to complete personalized education through future education.

On the 18th, Park Hye-ja, a preliminary candidate for Gwangju Superintendent of Education, said, "By providing smart devices free of charge, we will build a digital education ecosystem and create an uninterrupted future education environment."

It is expected that students will enhance their digital capabilities and more easily receive individualized personalized education through the smart devices provided.

Since future education classes will utilize digital media, the plan is to distribute devices to students to help them adapt to AI classes and thereby improve basic academic skills.

If elected, the plan is to complete distribution to all students within the term to support students' online learning abilities and complete the digital education environment system.

Preliminary candidate Park said, "During my time as the head of the Korea Education and Research Information Service, I realized the importance of building smart infrastructure while preparing for remote classes due to COVID-19," and added, "Through providing smart devices, I will enhance students' digital adaptability and create a better smart education environment."
