[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] At around 1:45 PM on the 18th, a fire broke out at Eunma Apartment in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, causing six residents to evacuate.
According to the fire department, the fire started in a unit on the 9th floor of the 14-story apartment and was completely extinguished at around 2:19 PM, 34 minutes after the fire began.
The fire authorities deployed 26 vehicles and 100 personnel to put out the fire. No casualties were reported.
A fire official stated, "We are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage."
