[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Influencer management startup Triz Commerce announced on the 18th that it has secured 7 billion KRW in Series A funding.
In this round, five institutions participated: Mirae Asset Securities, IBK Industrial Bank, Samho Green Investment, Albatross Investment, and Maple Investment Partners.
Triz Commerce started in 2015 by directly training and nurturing commerce creators and has expanded its business by launching its own private brand, 'MyHabit'. Since its founding, it has experienced rapid growth with an average annual growth rate of 104%.
The company’s continuous operating profit played a significant role in attracting this investment. A representative from one of the participating investors stated, "Unlike most multi-channel network (MCN) companies that continue to operate at a loss, Triz Commerce is the only MCN company in the industry to record a profit, which earned it a favorable evaluation."
Through this investment, Triz Commerce plans to develop a one-stop solution platform that provides all necessary services when influencers conduct commerce. It also intends to strengthen competitiveness by expanding its private brand and nurture and discover talented creators through the establishment of a commerce academy.
Kim Jeonghoon, CEO of Triz Commerce, said, "Through this investment, we will expand business leadership and continue innovation to provide better commerce experiences not only to brands and influencers but also to customers."
