Gyeonggi Governor Candidate Kim Dong-yeon Officially Confirms Campaign Slogan

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The campaign of Kim Dong-yeon, the Democratic Party of Korea's preliminary candidate for Gyeonggi Province governor, has officially finalized the slogan "The Center of Change, Gyeonggi-do That Works Well! Kim Dong-yeon."

On the 18th, Kim Dong-yeon's campaign confirmed this official slogan and unveiled it through the candidate's SNS.

The first part of the slogan, "The Center of Change, Gyeonggi-do," reflects Kim's determination to realize political change starting from Gyeonggi-do by breaking vested interests.

A campaign official added that it symbolizes leading political change in Gyeonggi-do, a microcosm of the Republic of Korea, thereby driving change throughout the entire country.

The latter part, "That Works Well! Kim Dong-yeon," focuses on highlighting Kim's image as an "economic expert" and "pragmatic reformer," who has extensive government experience spanning 34 years across major ministries and has achieved outstanding results in the economic field.

A campaign official explained, "This slogan emphasizes that Kim Dong-yeon, an economic expert with rich government experience and capability, is the right person to succeed former Gyeonggi Province governor Lee Jae-myung and lead political change and the dismantling of vested interests, bringing transformation to Gyeonggi-do."
