Gang Gijeong, Gwangju Mayor Preliminary Candidate, Strengthens Communication Through 'Media Day'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Kang Ki-jung, the Democratic Party of Korea's preliminary candidate for mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City, will hold a media day to strengthen communication.

Kang Ki-jung's preliminary candidate primary election campaign headquarters announced that on the 19th at 11 a.m., they will hold a media day at Kangchu Camp (45, Sicheong-ro, Seo-gu, Gwangju) and have a Q&A session with reporters.

Preliminary candidate Kang plans to reveal a future vision to open a new era for Gwangju through his determination for the primary election and policy explanations.

The primary election campaign headquarters stated, "We prepared this event to strengthen communication and get closer to citizens through the announcement of determination and policy plans for the primary election," adding, "As far as we know, this is the first time a candidate has held a media day in past elections. We hope this election will focus on policy-based campaigning."
