Ildong Pharmaceutical Establishes Global Business Division... Appoints Vice President Lee Jae-jun

Lee Jae-jun, newly appointed Head of Global Business Division at Ildong Pharmaceutical.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Ildong Pharmaceutical announced on the 18th that it has established a Global Business Division and appointed Lee Jae-jun, Vice President in charge of global business, as the head of the division.

Vice President Lee previously worked as a consultant in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors at AT Kearney in the United States, and later led numerous global business projects at GSK and Dong-A ST. From 2018 until recently, he served as CEO of Youngjin Pharm, where he focused on significantly growing overseas sales.

Ildong Pharmaceutical's Global Business Division will encompass the existing global business development (BD) sector, the overseas business department responsible for exports and imports, and the IUIC (ILDONG USA Innovation Center), a U.S. corporation currently being established as part of global open innovation efforts.

Ildong Pharmaceutical's strategy is to actively drive not only the export of finished and raw pharmaceutical products but also the technology export of its own new drug pipeline.
