Korbit to Support Automatic KRW Deposit Transfers Starting from the 20th

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Domestic cryptocurrency exchange Korbit announced on the 18th that it will support the automatic transfer service for KRW deposits starting from the 20th.

With this service support, customers can easily deposit KRW into their Korbit wallet through the Korbit application (app). Previously, to deposit KRW into the Korbit wallet, customers had to log in to the Shinhan Bank app or web page and obtain a separate virtual account number to deposit KRW.

However, after the service launch, fast and convenient KRW deposits will be possible by using a dedicated communication line with Shinhan Bank's computer system. Korbit plans to actively support existing customers in registering for the automatic transfer service during the grace period from 6 a.m. on the 20th to 11:30 p.m. on the 5th of next month.

After the grace period ends, the KRW deposit service using the existing virtual account number will no longer be available. For detailed information such as how to register for the automatic transfer service, please check the Korbit website or the FAQ menu within the app.

Oh Se-jin, CEO of Korbit, stated, "We plan to support customers to easily and quickly deposit KRW through the automatic transfer service," adding, "We will continue to make efforts in various ways to enhance the convenience of our customers' transactions."
