The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency will hold the "Seminar on Strengthening the Future Competitiveness of Broadcasting and Video Content in the Era of Great Transformation" on the 22nd to explore changes and response strategies in the broadcasting and video content industry. Based on successful cases such as "Squid Game," "Hellbound," and "All of Us Are Dead," the seminar will reexamine the value of intellectual property (IP) and discuss promotion policies to enhance global competitiveness. The comprehensive discussion will include experts from the content industry, academia, and government ministries. Participants include Professor Park Ju-yeon of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Yeon Ju-hyung, Head of Kim Jong-hak Productions, Professor Hwang Seung-heum of Kookmin University, Professor Kim Yong-hee of Soongsil University, Professor Lee Sung-min of Korea National Open University, and Kang Ji-eun, Director of the Broadcasting and Video Advertising Division at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Presenters include Cho Hyun-rae, President of the Korea Creative Content Agency, Professor Choi Se-jung of Korea University, and Professor Lee Junho of Hoseo University. The seminar will be broadcast live online in a non-face-to-face format to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It can be viewed on the official YouTube channel of the Korean Broadcasting Society.
