[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] CJ Olive Young (hereinafter Olive Young) is launching its first large-scale developer recruitment of the year to enhance its digital development capabilities.


Olive Young announced on the 18th that it will conduct recruitment for developer positions from the 18th until next month 8th. Applications can be submitted through the CJ Group recruitment website and recruitment information platforms 'Wanted' and 'Programmers'.


This open recruitment is conducted without a limit on the number of hires to recruit talented professionals and targets experienced employees. The recruitment fields include ▲Online mall backend developer (exhibition/search) ▲Online mall backend developer (order/payment) ▲O2O platform backend developer ▲Frontend developer ▲Android app developer ▲iOS app developer ▲SRE (DevOps) ▲DBA ▲QA, totaling 9 positions.


Previously, Olive Young recruited a large number of developers with promising e-commerce and platform company experience last year with a competition rate reaching 300 to 1. Along with this, they introduced a squad team work method composed of experts by function, establishing an agile organizational culture. Under the Digital Business Division, they operate more than 10 squads including the order/payment squad and search/navigation squad.


Olive Young plans to accelerate talent acquisition this year as well to enhance development capabilities and accelerate its evolution into an omnichannel lifestyle platform business.


This recruitment introduces a kind of 'fast track' method. To actively recruit skilled developers, coding tests and preliminary assignments have been boldly removed, simplifying the recruitment process. After submitting documents, candidates will go through a call meeting with practitioners and a one-stop integrated non-face-to-face interview combining the previous first and second interviews to select the final successful candidates. Applicants can quickly learn their acceptance status within 48 hours after the call meeting.
