[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] The Presidential Transition Committee is conducting a preference survey on proposals submitted by the public.

The Transition Committee's Public Proposal Center announced in a press release on the 17th, "We are conducting a nationwide online preference survey to select the best proposals among the various opinions submitted by the public for the new government."

The Public Proposal Center received approximately 48,200 proposals after collecting opinions from the public both online and offline from the 17th of last month until the day before.

After receiving public opinions until the 20th, each specialized committee member will review them. Then, from the 23rd to the 26th, a preference survey for selecting outstanding proposals will be conducted on the Transition Committee's website under 'What the Public Hopes from the President-elect.'

Heo Seong-woo, head of the Public Proposal Center, said, "The new government will always listen to the voices of the people, and the Public Proposal Center will strive to be a channel that actively reflects public opinions in policies," adding, "We hope many citizens will participate in the preference survey for selecting outstanding proposals being conducted this time."
