[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] KOTRA announced that it will hold the 'K-Premium Consumer Goods Japan Market Entry Total Package' event on the 20th to share know-how on entering the Japanese market with Korean small and medium-sized enterprises.


Recently, there has been a surge of interest in Korean consumer goods in Japan due to the new Korean Wave boom. According to KOTRA Osaka Trade Center, home economy consumption has increased as remote work has become commonplace after COVID-19. Additionally, despite the COVID-19 situation, demand from Japanese consumers for Korean consumer goods continues to expand annually due to the popularity of Korean Wave content.


This event consists of a briefing session and on-site consulting. Local experts in three major popular Korean Wave product categories?cosmetics, food, and fashion?will be invited to share insights on Japanese market trends and entry strategies, and provide consulting to participating companies.


Notably, this event is KOTRA’s first digital transformation (DX) marketing event in the Japan region and will be conducted through the metaverse. Participants can freely move around in the virtual space via avatars and participate in the briefing session and on-site consulting in real time.
