According to major foreign media including the AP News, on the 16th (local time), a shooting took place at Columbia Center Mall in the afternoon, and the police are currently managing the scene.
The Columbia Police Department stated on Twitter, "We confirm that people were injured during the incident and are currently receiving treatment," adding, "The extent of the injuries is not known at this time."
