The appointment date is scheduled for the 18th.
On the same morning, Choi Jae-hae, Chairman of the Board of Audit and Inspection, nominated Professor Lee Mi-hyun of Yonsei University Law School and Lee Nam-gu, the 2nd Deputy Secretary-General of the Board of Audit and Inspection, as new Audit Commissioners.
Nominee Lee Mi-hyun was born in 1961 in Seoul, graduated from Sangmyung Girls' High School and Seoul National University Law School, and earned a master's degree in law from Seoul National University and Harvard University in the United States.
She passed the 26th Judicial Examination and worked as a lawyer at the law firm Gwangjang from 1987 to 2013. Since 2013, she has been serving as a law professor at Yonsei University. She has held positions such as member of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance's National Tax Review Committee and Tax System Development Committee, Administrative Appeals Committee of the Prime Minister's Office, and Financial Development Committee.
Nominee Lee Nam-gu was born in 1965 in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, graduated from Suwon High School and Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in Agricultural Economics, and completed a master's course in Public Administration at Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration. He passed the 38th Administrative Examination in 1994, began his public service career in 1995, transferred to the Board of Audit and Inspection in 1996, and has held positions such as 2nd Deputy Secretary-General, Head of Public Service Inspection Headquarters, Director of Social Welfare Audit Bureau, and Secretary to the Chairman of the Board of Audit and Inspection.
