Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station, Practical Training to Strengthen Fire Special Investigator Skills

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Dongbu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 15th that it held on-site training to improve the inspection skills of special fire investigation personnel at the Fire Safety Department practice room of Donggang University.

The training was planned as on-site practice to enhance the substance of special fire investigations (fire safety investigations) and to improve public trust. Employees interested in special fire investigation personnel and fire facility inspection participated voluntarily to gain learning opportunities.

The main contents included ▲practice on water-based fire extinguishing systems such as pressure pumps and various valve operations ▲practical inspection of gas-based fire extinguishing systems (CO2) and smoke control facilities ▲acquisition of practical operation skills for the latest fire facilities.

A Dongbu Fire Station official said, “Along with the rapidly advancing fire technology, we will do our best in safety inspections by strengthening the inspection capabilities of special fire investigation personnel.”
