Boseong-gun Achieves Highest Innovation Rating for 2 Consecutive Years... Secures 40 Million Won Incentive

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] On the 15th, Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced that it secured an incentive of 40 million won by achieving the highest grade in the ‘2021 Local Government Innovation Evaluation’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The local government innovation evaluation hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety last year focuses on local governments demonstrating innovative capabilities on their own to seek development directions, responding to government innovation, and creating meaningful resident-experienced outcomes.

Boseong-gun received high scores in organizational culture innovation and activation of proactive administration in last year’s local government innovation evaluation, and was selected as an excellent institution with the highest innovation evaluation grade for two consecutive years.

To challenge change and innovation, Boseong-gun is actively promoting innovative cases such as ▶ Boseong600 Project, ▶ We Take Care of Elderly Living Alone in Our Neighborhood, ▶ Community Activity Support, ▶ Opening of Public Resources, ▶ Formation of Innovation Avengers, and ▶ On-site Support for Department and Eup/Myeon Collaboration and Collaboration Points.

A Boseong-gun official said, “We are truly proud to have received good evaluations in the government innovation evaluation for two consecutive years, and this year as well, we will discover excellent innovative cases and create outcomes that residents can feel.”

Meanwhile, the government innovation evaluation was conducted with the participation of private experts and citizen evaluation groups, evaluating 14 indicators across five categories: ▲Institutional Autonomous Innovation, ▲Inclusive Administration, ▲Participation and Cooperation, ▲Trusted Government, and ▲Innovation Diffusion and Citizen Experience.
