[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam 'Out-of-School Youth Support Center' provides 1:1 customized college admission consulting for out-of-school youth in the Gyeongnam area aiming for university admission.
The Out-of-School Youth Support Center is an institution under the Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Support Foundation, a Gyeongnam provincial government-funded organization, and has increased the consulting sessions from one held last year to two sessions in April and September this year.
The 1:1 customized admission consulting is promoted in cooperation with the Gyeongnam Office of Education and the Gyeongnam College Admission Information Center to provide out-of-school youth with admission strategy information equivalent to that of enrolled students and to support their advancement to higher education.
Based on the qualification exam scores, counseling is provided to assess the possibility of acceptance to universities and departments, and individualized admission strategies are devised for each student.
During the early admission period in September, a live university admission briefing will be held via YouTube, and regional university admission information fairs will be organized to provide admission information and related counseling for desired universities and colleges.
The 1:1 customized admission consulting for the first half of this year will be conducted online via video conference from the 25th to the 27th, lasting three days.
It will be held through Zoom Cloud from 2 PM to 6 PM and is targeted at out-of-school youth in the Gyeongnam region.
Including a 10-minute waiting time, each participating youth is allocated 60 minutes, with different participation days and time slots for each youth.
Days and time slots are assigned randomly, and after completing registration, participants can confirm their consultation date and time via a text message received on the final notification day.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until April 18, and applicants can submit the application form via email.
Detailed information, including how to fill out the application form, can be found in the notices section on the Gyeongsangnam-do Out-of-School Youth Support Center website.
