원본보기 아이콘[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] On Friday the 15th, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide but will gradually clear up from the morning.
In the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, and the Gyeongsang region, clouds will occasionally increase in the afternoon. From late afternoon to evening, some areas in Seoul, northwestern Gyeonggi, eastern Gyeonggi, and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon may experience rain around 5mm.
In areas where rain falls, gusty winds and thunder with lightning are expected, so caution is needed to prevent safety accidents.
The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 3 and 11 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 12 and 22 degrees Celsius. Temperature differences between day and night will be around 15 degrees, especially inland, so health management is advised.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.
Strong winds with instantaneous speeds around 15 m/s are expected along the Gyeongsang coastal area, southern coast of Jeollanam-do, and Jeju Island, so attention to facility management and safety accidents is necessary.
Until the 16th, strong winds and high waves will occur in the southern offshore waters of the southern West Sea, East Sea, South Sea, and Jeju waters, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
Along the East Coast and Jeju Island, high waves caused by swell will strongly hit sandy beaches and may overflow rocky shores or breakwaters.
Sea waves are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. Offshore waves (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 2.0 to 4.0 meters in the South Sea.
