Kim I-bae, CEO of Jeju Air, is promoting the Life Sharing Practice Campaign in the parking lot of the Aviation Support Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Jeju Air employees participated in a group blood donation on the 14th. This is the fourth time since June last year. Due to difficulties in blood supply following COVID-19, employees have voluntarily joined the blood donation efforts.

Those vaccinated against COVID-19 can donate blood only after 7 days from vaccination, and those who have recovered from COVID-19 can donate 4 weeks after quarantine release, resulting in a reduced eligible donor population. To ensure safe blood donation, Jeju Air gathered employees in advance and limited donations to 4 people every 30 minutes. The collected blood donation certificates were donated to the Korean Red Cross, and employees who could not participate can also donate their previously held blood donation certificates.

On this day, Jeju Air CEO Kim I-bae and Kim Dong-seok, Director of the Seoul Central Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross, signed an agreement to hold regular blood donations on the 14th of every even-numbered month.
