[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 14th that the 'Grand Kitchen' at Grand Hyatt Jeju within the Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort will be renewed and reopened as a premium buffet in the style of Las Vegas, USA, on the 15th.

Lotte Tour Development explained that more than 50 chefs, including Executive Chef Kim Young-min, formerly of the Wynn Palace Hotel in Macau, and the chef team he leads, participated in the buffet renewal opening.

'Grand Kitchen' consists of seven stations: Grill, Seafood, Asian, Dessert, Cold, Bar, and Kids. It features an open kitchen format where guests can watch the chefs cook. At the 'Grill Station,' an '? la minute' service is offered where chefs prepare dishes on the spot. Beef, pork barbecue ribs, beer chicken, and tomahawk made from Jeju pork are available. In the evening, the 'Premium Grill Station' grills lobster, lamb chops, and steak fresh on site.

The 'Seafood Station' has enhanced its menu with seasonal fish from Jeju. Four to five types such as mackerel, flatfish, red sea bream, and yellowtail, along with nine types of sushi, are prepared. It also includes stamina-boosting seafood like king crab, mussels, horned turban shells, sea cucumbers, and sea squirts. At the 'Asian Station,' guests can enjoy not only Chinese dishes like pork belly char siu and handmade dim sum but also live noodle stations serving Vietnamese pho and seafood ramen. Local Jeju dishes such as crab roe rice and grilled or braised cutlassfish are also available. 'The Dessert Station mainly features over 20 types of handmade desserts including cr?me br?l?e. Seven types of ice cream are freshly made every morning by a French ice cream specialist chef.

The 'Kids Station,' previously operated only on weekends and specific days, will now be open regularly. It offers menus popular with children such as chocolate fountains, mini burgers, mini hot dogs, and nuggets.

Meanwhile, Lotte Tour Development will sell room packages for Grand Hyatt Jeju within the Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort through Kakao Makers for one week starting from the 15th. The package includes breakfast options featuring the newly renewed Grand Kitchen and, for the first time, an option to upgrade to a corner suite (130㎡), which is twice the size of a standard room. This upgrade option costs an additional 300,000 KRW per night and is limited to a total of 180 rooms. The stay period is from the 29th of this month to July 29.
