Goheung-gun and LG HelloVision Broadcasting Sign Business Agreement for Goheung Branding Promotion and Marketing

[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shim Jeong-woo] On the 13th, Jeonnam Goheung-gun announced that on the 11th, it signed a 'Goheung Branding Promotion and Marketing Business Agreement' with LG HelloVision Broadcasting Co., Ltd., the nation's largest cable broadcaster, at the Palyongsan Hall of the county office.

This agreement holds significance in jointly cooperating to brand the excellence and reliability of Goheung-gun's policies, tourism, and agricultural and marine specialties to viewers and consumers.

A county official stated, "Through the broadcasting channels, online platforms, and TV apps owned by LG HelloVision Broadcasting Co., Ltd., we will promote the natural beauty and tourism products of Goheung-gun, and do our best to revitalize the sales and distribution of Goheung's excellent agricultural, marine, and livestock products through discovering diverse and distinctive stories and various promotions such as TV home shopping and live commerce."

Jo Yong-dae, General Director of LG HelloVision, said, "To alleviate the difficulties faced by farmers due to the recent drop in onion prices, we jointly sold about 40 tons of fresh Goheung onions through LG HelloVision's home shopping channel and various online sales platforms with Goheung-gun, which we believe provided some help to the farmers."

Furthermore, he stated that they will continue to produce diverse media content related to Goheung-gun's policies, tourism, and agricultural and marine products to brand Goheung.

County Governor Song Gui-geun said, "Although the county has shown great interest and promoted Goheung tourism and agricultural and marine specialty product marketing, it is regrettable that Goheung is not well known despite its excellence," adding, "With this agreement, we expect that effective Goheung branding through media such as TV and YouTube, aligned with the non-face-to-face consumption trend changed by COVID-19, will enhance Goheung's value and greatly help expand sales channels for Goheung's agricultural and marine specialty products and increase farmers' income."
