On the same day, Yoon Ho-jung, the Emergency Response Committee Chairman, said at the Emergency Committee meeting held at the Daejeon City Party Office in the morning, "For a definite victory in the local elections, in addition to new attempts, a grand decision for everyone to win is inevitable," and added, "We have decided to designate Seoul as a strategic nomination area."

Chairman Yoon emphasized, "Even if it involves the pain of cutting off one's own flesh, we will make the local elections a winning election through bold decisions."
