Lotte Confectionery Launches 'Chaltteok Ice Injeolmi'

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Confectionery announced on the 13th that it will launch 'Chaltteok Ice Injeolmi,' a multi-pack version of 'Chaltteok Ice.'

Chaltteok Ice Injeolmi features a triple-layer structure consisting of rice cake, ice mix, and syrup. Using triple coating technology, chewy chaltteok contains ice cream mixed with Injeolmi coating and black sesame, with a soybean-flavored syrup added inside. The tray that holds the product can be separated into three parts, allowing consumers to eat only as much as needed and discard the rest, making storage convenient.

A Lotte Confectionery official explained, "Chaltteok Ice Injeolmi contains a total of nine chaltteok ice creams," adding, "This product was launched because multi-pack ice creams for home use, which can be taken out little by little whenever you crave them, are gaining popularity."
