[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] S-OIL announced on the 13th that it has donated 60 million KRW in scholarships to the Cargo Welfare Foundation for the children of cargo truck drivers who have been victims of traffic accidents.

This scholarship will be awarded to about 20 children of cargo truck drivers who have been involved in traffic accidents.

Since 2015, S-OIL has been providing tuition support to children of cargo truck drivers who have suffered unexpected accidents to help stabilize the economic and psychological conditions of their families. Over the past 8 years, scholarships have been awarded to more than 290 students.

An S-OIL official stated, "When the head of a household who relies on driving for a living is affected by a traffic accident, the family also faces great difficulties.
