[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Kim Hyewon] In the public institution customer satisfaction survey, 104 organizations including Korea Electric Power Corporation and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) received a 'Poor' rating.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance disclosed the results of the 2021 public institution customer satisfaction survey on the 12th, which included this information.
The public institution customer satisfaction survey is an annual questionnaire conducted on customers who have received services, aiming to improve the quality of services provided by public institutions. This year, 245 public institutions were surveyed.
In this survey, 41 institutions including Incheon International Airport Corporation and Korea Real Estate Board were selected as 'Excellent' institutions.
Busan Port Authority, Incheon Port Authority, and 7 other institutions were recognized as excellent institutions for three consecutive years, while the Independence Hall of Korea and the Democracy Movement Memorial Association were recognized for two consecutive years.
Korea Gas Corporation, Kangwon Land, and 94 other institutions were selected as 'Average' institutions.
The institutions that received a 'Poor' rating include SR, Korea Airports Corporation, Korea Expressway Corporation, Korea Racing Authority, Korea National Oil Corporation, Korea Electric Power Corporation, Korea Railroad Corporation, LH, and 96 others, totaling 104 institutions.
The government plans to reflect the customer satisfaction survey results in the 2021 public institution management performance evaluation and disclose them on the Public Institution Management Information System (ALIO).
Institutions rated as poor will be required to establish plans to improve public services and their implementation performance will be checked quarterly.
