Wanju-gun Operates Visiting Village Tax Consultant Service

[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju-gun announced that it will operate a visiting village tax accountant service on the 13th from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Yongjin-eup and Iseo-myeon Administrative Welfare Centers.

The service is conducted through face-to-face consultations with village tax accountants in two eup/myeon areas each month, and it is expected to be a great help to residents who are worried about difficult and complex tax issues.

The village tax accountant system has been in operation for 7 years since 2016, providing free tax consultations by tax accountants to general residents and small business owners who find it difficult to afford tax consultation costs.

Residents in need of consultation can apply for consultation by phone, fax, or email to the village tax accountant and receive free consultation via phone, email, or face-to-face if necessary.

Consultations cover both national and local tax matters, including appeals such as objections to local tax assessments.

However, preparation and filing of various tax returns on behalf of residents are not included, and since this system is intended to assist residents facing financial difficulties, consultations may be restricted for those owning assets above a certain amount.
