Minister Jeong Eui-yong Meets with Speaker of the Swedish Parliament to Discuss Ukraine

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 12th, Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong met with Andreas Norl?n, Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, who was on an official visit to Korea at the invitation of National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok.

Both sides exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine, and Speaker Norl?n highly praised the Korean government for actively participating in the international community's efforts to peacefully resolve the Ukraine crisis.

Minister Chung evaluated Sweden's active contributions to the Korean Peninsula issue so far, and Speaker Norl?n reaffirmed Sweden's support for Korea's efforts to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula.
