One Junior Prosecutor Dies by Jumping from Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office Building

[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] On the 12th, a prosecutor at the Seoul Yangcheon-gu Southern District Prosecutors' Office building jumped to his death.

According to the police, at around 11:20 a.m. that day, a report was received that a man had jumped from the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office building. The man was a rookie prosecutor belonging to this office, and he fell from the building to the east parking lot. He was transported to the hospital but ultimately died.

A police official said, "We are investigating whether it was a suicide."
