[Yeongam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do carried out the 'Visiting Jeonnam Happiness Bus' sharing volunteer activities on the 11th at Migyo Village, Haksan-myeon.
The Visiting Jeonnam Happiness Bus provides public welfare support to residents in remote and mountainous areas by offering volunteer services in over 10 fields, including health checkups, hair and beauty services, nail trimming, and experiential activities.
On this day, about 20 volunteers conducted love-sharing services such as health checkups, magnifier cleaning, hair and beauty services, nail trimming, experiential activities, physical therapy, and civil legal consultations for 25 households in the village.
The Yeongam-gun schedule for the 'Visiting Jeonnam Happiness Bus' will start with Migyo Village and then visit Maewol Village in Haksan-myeon on the 9th of next month (Monday), and Baegundong Village in Seoho-myeon on June 17th (Friday).
A county official said, “We deeply appreciate the active participation of provincial officials involved in this volunteer activity, Chairwoman Seol Soon-ok of the Hair and Beauty Volunteer Association, and Song Young-hee, head of the Yeongam-gun Family Center of the Nail Art Volunteer Association.”
