[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] An explosive device suspected to be a grenade was found at a redevelopment site in Nam-gu, Busan.


According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at around 8:20 a.m. on the 12th, an excavator operator discovered an explosive device suspected to be a grenade underground at a redevelopment site in Munhyeon-dong, Nam-gu, Busan, and reported it.


The police responded to the report, set up a police line, and evacuated workers. The 53rd Division and the Special Forces (EOD) also dispatched personnel to confirm the explosive device.


The police stated, "Upon confirmation, it was suspected to be a training grenade with no anti-aircraft suspicion, and it was collected by the 125th Regiment around 10:30 a.m."
