Angel-in-us to Raise Prices by an Average of 2.5% Starting from the 14th of This Month

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Lotte GRS's Angel-in-us announced on the 12th that it will raise product prices by an average of 2.5% starting from the 14th, marking the first increase in about three years.

The price adjustment applies to a total of 43 items (21 coffee varieties, 5 tea & beverage varieties, and 17 dessert varieties). The signature menu items will be adjusted as follows: Americano from 4,300 won to 4,500 won, Honey Lemon Tea from 4,900 won to 5,000 won, and Cube Sweet Bread from 5,300 won to 5,500 won.

Angel-in-us explained, "Despite the continuous increase in international coffee bean prices last year, the headquarters absorbed the cost increase for about five months to maintain franchise profitability. However, due to ongoing rises in coffee bean import costs, raw material prices, and minimum wage increases, we have decided to adjust sales prices to sustain franchise store profitability."
