[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 12th that it is recruiting trainees for the excellent electric vehicle maintenance personnel training program, 'Mercedes-Benz AET.'
This 'Mercedes-Benz AET' program was planned strategically to nurture outstanding talent in the electric vehicle field in line with the electrification era and the transition to electric vehicles.
The AET program consists of a total of 20 courses, conducted over approximately 14 weeks of theoretical education and 40 weeks of on-site training. Starting from this course, the curriculum has been reorganized to equip trainees with electric vehicle repair capabilities. Added contents include electric vehicle work safety management for Mercedes-EQ brand vehicles, drive system maintenance, high-voltage battery control system maintenance, high-voltage battery cooling system maintenance, and electric vehicle charging device maintenance.
After completing the program and passing the evaluation, participants will receive ▲AET certification by Mercedes-Benz Korea, ▲Mercedes-Benz maintenance technician certification recognized across the global Mercedes-Benz network, ▲Mercedes-Benz certified system technician basic qualification, and ▲Mercedes-Benz certified high-voltage expert qualification. Additionally, employment at official Mercedes-Benz dealerships and service centers is guaranteed.
Anyone who has graduated or is expected to graduate from a two-year college automotive-related department can apply. Those wishing to participate in the program can download the application documents from the official Mercedes-Benz Korea website, fill them out, and submit them via email to the recruitment officer of each dealer by the 29th. After document screening, interviews, and written tests, the final successful candidates will be announced on July 15.
The 'Mercedes-Benz AET' program is part of 'AMT,' which has been nurturing Mercedes-Benz specialized personnel in Korea since 2006. The Mercedes-Benz Group's vocational education program has been reorganized to suit domestic conditions, and about 230 technicians have been trained up to last year. The Mercedes-Benz vocational education program is conducted through digital education and face-to-face training focused on participation, contributing to the improvement of service quality at official domestic service centers.
