IEL Science Participates in Nara Jangteo Expo... Showcases Silicon Lens Technology

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Smart optical solutions company IL Science will participate in the '2022 Korea Public Procurement Expo' held for three days from the 13th to the 15th at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The Korea Public Procurement Expo is the largest public procurement exhibition in South Korea, hosted by the Public Procurement Service and the Korea Federation of SMEs. It is held with the purpose of securing sales channels for excellent small and medium enterprises, supporting the growth of venture companies, and assisting outstanding products in entering overseas markets. Only companies designated as excellent procurement product suppliers or certified for new technologies and new products by the Public Procurement Service can participate in the Public Procurement Expo.

At the Public Procurement Expo, IL Science plans to introduce its various products and new technologies, focusing on its core manufacturing technology for silicone lenses used in LED lighting.

Silicone lenses are characterized by being lighter, more heat-resistant, and having higher light transmittance compared to conventional plastic, acrylic, and glass lenses. Additionally, by adopting advanced dispensing methods, cost reduction and customized production for customers are facilitated.

IL Science produces silicone lenses at a smart factory established in Cheonan. With its own technology, it has designed and manufactured an unmanned production line that automates the entire process from dispensing, molding, to demolding, enabling mass production.

An IL Science representative said, "This Public Procurement Expo is a great opportunity to showcase IL Science's differentiated technologies and products," adding, "We will continue to actively utilize our advanced material technologies to expand the application of silicone lenses beyond the LED lighting field."
