Gwangju National Science Museum Selected as an Excellent Public Institution for Integrated Public Disclosure

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 12th that it was selected as an excellent disclosure institution in the 2021 integrated public institution disclosure inspection conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Public institution management disclosure is a system that discloses major information about the management of public institutions to enhance management transparency, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance regularly inspects the disclosure status every year to improve the reliability of disclosed information.

This inspection was conducted on 348 public institutions, and the National Gwangju Science Museum achieved a zero penalty score in the 2021 inspection results, being selected as one of the 35 excellent disclosure institutions.

This is the second time the National Gwangju Science Museum has been selected as an excellent disclosure institution, following 2017.

Jeon Tae-ho, Acting Director, stated, “We will continue to strive to become a National Gwangju Science Museum trusted by the public through systematic management disclosure management and accurate provision of management information.”
