원본보기 아이콘[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 12th that it will exclusively showcase limited edition works by pop artist Han Sang-yoon, famous for his paintings of happy pigs, on the mobile TV platform 'ELive' on the 13th.
In this broadcast, artist Han Sang-yoon and a professional curator will appear to introduce the works directly. They plan to sell 100 pieces, including six original paintings such as 'Nice Shot' and 'Happy Journey,' as well as limited edition prints of 'Modern Times,' all framed and personally signed. On the 3rd of next month, original works by artist Kim Ji-hee, who gained attention for the 'Open Run Craze,' will be featured.
Last year, Lotte Homeshopping established a dedicated culture team and has been actively promoting its culture business, including art sales and cultural content planning. In February, it launched the 'Banggu-seok Culture Hall,' a cultural and arts specialty section within its mobile application.
A Lotte Homeshopping official said, "This time, we are presenting limited edition works by Han Sang-yoon, who has built a unique pop art worldview centered on pigs," adding, "We plan to actively reflect changes in cultural and artistic market trends and strengthen our cultural content competitiveness targeting young audiences by utilizing mobile channels."
