'Shriners Champ' Im Sung-jae (24, photo) received 4.05 points in the weekly official golf world rankings announced on the afternoon of the 11th (Korean time), jumping five spots from 26th place last week. He accumulated points by finishing tied for 8th place (1-under 287) on the final day of the 'Masters' (total prize money $15 million) held at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA (par 72, 7,510 yards) that morning. This marks his fifth top 10 finish this season, including one win in 14 tournaments.
Scottie Scheffler showcased his dominant 'Number 1' power by winning 4 of the last 6 tournaments. He holds 10.06 points, while second place Collin Morikawa (both from the USA, 7.98 points) is engaged in a tough chase.
