[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Seul-gi] The father of Lee Eun-hae, the suspect in the 'Valley Murder Case,' claimed that the suspicions surrounding his daughter have been exaggerated and insisted, "My daughter was known as a filial daughter in the neighborhood."

According to YTN on the 11th, Lee Eun-hae's father, Mr. A, said, "More than 80% of the suspicions are blown out of proportion," and added, "We don't know anything about the crime either, but they keep coming to ask, so it's distressing."

Mr. A continued, "My daughter was really known as a filial daughter in this neighborhood," and said, "Both parents use wheelchairs, and even when we go on trips, she always insists on taking mom and dad along."

However, contrary to Mr. A's claim that Lee Eun-hae was a 'well-known filial daughter,' some local residents said they have never seen her.

Mr. A also revealed that contact with Lee Eun-hae was lost after the prosecution began a full-scale summons investigation into the valley murder case in December last year. He said, "No one has seen her since December," and added, "I haven't seen her since December. I haven't been able to talk to her either."

Meanwhile, Lee Eun-hae and her accomplice Jo Hyun-soo are accused of forcing Lee Eun-hae's husband, Mr. B, who cannot swim, to dive into the water at Yongsogye Valley in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, on June 30, 2019, aiming for insurance money, which led to his drowning and death. The police believe they ignored Mr. B's calls for help in the water, resulting in murder.

Nearly two weeks have passed since the prosecution and police issued public warrants for Lee Eun-hae and her accomplice Jo Hyun-soo, but their whereabouts remain unknown. It has been confirmed that after going into hiding, they have not used mobile phones or credit cards registered under their own names.
