This fire was caused by the negligence of an involved party. The fire started in a wood-fired boiler and spread through the flue, causing damage such as partial destruction of the ceiling. However, nearby residents used a fire extinguisher installed inside the house to initially suppress the fire, preventing major damage.

A fire official stated, "Residential fire safety equipment is the minimum safety device that can protect my home and my family from fire," and added, "We urge everyone to install residential fire safety equipment to ensure quick evacuation and prevent fire damage."
