The opening ceremony of the Changwon National University College of Business Administration (Building 21) was held.
원본보기 아이콘[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Changwon National University held an opening ceremony on the 5th after completing facility improvements, expansions, and remodeling projects for the College of Business Administration (Building 21).
The opening ceremony was attended by President Lee Hoyoung, Dean of the College of Business Administration Baek Ja-uk, faculty members, staff, students, and alumni.
The newly renovated College of Business Administration is a four-story building with a total area of 9,958㎡, housing seven departments: Business Administration, International Trade (day and evening), Accounting, Taxation, Economics, and Finance and Insurance. It includes general lecture rooms, tiered lecture rooms, faculty research offices, department offices, student council rooms, and seminar rooms.
Facilities such as SAL lecture rooms, video lecture recording studios, undergraduate and graduate study rooms, JOB SCHOOL and JOB CAFE, CPA exam preparation classes, graduate labs, CEO lecture rooms, the general alumni association office, the Business and Economics Research Institute, the Gyeongnam Economic Education Center, the College of Business Administration Industry-Academia Cooperation Office, and instructor offices were also established.
Dean Baek Ja-uk stated, “With the College of Business Administration reopening in a new form, it will take a step higher as a cradle of top talent in the era of globalization and as a pivotal force in the development of local industries.”
President Lee Hoyoung said, “Starting in 1979 with the establishment of the Departments of Business Administration, Trade, and Accounting, the College of Business Administration has steadily grown and conducted education and research for the past 43 years. I hope it will achieve continuous future development,” adding, “We will continue to provide generous support and investment to the eight colleges.”
