[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Pusan National University confirmed the preliminary administrative disposition to cancel the admission of Cho Min, daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, on the 5th.
On the afternoon of the 5th, Pusan National University held a faculty meeting to review and approve the preliminary administrative disposition. Cho was admitted to the Graduate School of Medicine in the 2015 academic year, and her admission was canceled after seven years.
Pusan National University made the decision based on its own investigation results and reported the review proposal at the faculty meeting. The meeting was attended by the president, deans of colleges, and university headquarters officials.
Earlier, in August of last year, Pusan National University issued a preliminary administrative disposition to 'cancel admission' based on the results of an internal investigation by the Admission Fairness Management Committee.
